Versatile bounce/sole grind combinations, including the new Low Bounce W-Grind, enable playability from the fairway, rough and sand. In addition, the JAWS groove design delivers spin and control. Loft-optimized weighting and a soft 8620 Carbon Steel construction enable uniquely satisfying feel.
More Options to Lower Your Score - Selecting Sole Grind:
- JAWS MD5 Wedges are available in 5 grind options, each with generous camber from heel to toe for smooth turf interaction and soft feel
- C-Grind: Increased relief, especially at the heel, making it easier to play shots with the face open. Ideal for medium to shallow attack angles and/or firm course conditions. (8° Bounce)
- S-Grind: Medium-width sole with slight camber at the back and moderate heel relief to keep the leading edge low through impact, promoting solid contact on open-faced shots. (10° Bounce)
- W-Grind: Sole is wider at the center and toe, and narrower at the heel, with moderate heel relief and generous front-to-back camber. That prevents digging without increasing bounce, and keeps the leading edge close to the turf at impact. Great for open-faced shots and more versatile than the previous W-Grind. (12° Bounce)
- Low Bounce W-Grind:Direct result of Tour player feedback that delivers increased playability around the green while providing moderate heel relief and generous front-to-back camber. Great for playing a wider variety of greenside shots.

The Jaws MD5’s are great wedges. Love the bounce options. I purchased the 50° wedge to compliment my 54, 58, & 60. My 58 is an 8° LBW bounce and my 60 is a 10° C bounce so I switch between them to best suit my New England Summer and Florida Winter course conditions. I do wish there was a 48° option for an AW to better fit the gap between my Apex 43° PW and MD5 SW.

I bought this club about a month ago as I had a rather significant gap in my bag between my gap wedge and my 58 wedge. Talking with the very knowledgable staff member he recommended the 54 degree wedge to go between them. I had been thinking a 52 and a 56! It's now one of the consistent clubs in my bag.

Outstanding feel and spin into the greens. I'm using the S grind on all three of my Jaw wedges and I'm able to play various shots with each club without fear of chunking or catching the ball thin. The Jaw wedges are a great tool to have in my bag.

I purchase this wedge to replace my old trusty ping 62 degree that I had lost. The first shot that I hit with the Jaws felt great and spun back about 3 feet. My confidence with this club is thru the roof. It also looks great in my bag.

Novice golfer with mid handicap. Playing Tp5 Pix ball. I bought the 52w and 56w. I'm not the best with my wedges but I thought i have a good feel for them. I used to play all shots with my generic off the shelf 60, and it worked great. I had a 52 and 56 in my bag but I never used them because i always had bad results with them. Arriving late, I didn't get to warm up but I was able to chipped twice before the first tee. First drive put me about 80 some yards off the green. Here we go. I pull out the 56 and landed just past the center of the green with a Red pin. The ball backed up 4 feet. I've never seen that or did that. Amazed. This happened every time I was able to hit the green to the point that now I have to consider how much it will come back. These thing are great and for now, I love having the backing off the green problem. I have only tried to work the 52 from right to left with good success and spin. I don't know what took me soo long to get these. Lets see how long the dark finish last.

I have the 58 and 54 degree wedges and love them both. The feel and forgiveness is awesome. They are are great for the green side bunkers as well as approach shots from the fairway. Has improved my game tremendously

I bought this club about a month ago as I was missing a club that would fill the gap between my 75 yard sand wedge and my 100 yard gap wedge. This was perfect and it paid dividends the next day on an 85 yard par 3. I have a Calloway JAWS 56 degree and now a 52 degree wedge. Extremely satisfied with this club.

I bought this about one month ago, and have been able to use it only at the range and at a simulator; but what a wedge! I love this thing; it gets great backspin when the ball lands and is really well balanced. Would recommend if you want a great wedge!

Callaway jaws wedges are an awesome option if you want to upgrade your wedge setup. They come in multiple loft and bounce options and are a definite upgrade from the wedges that come in most iron sets. Give them a try, they are great wedges.

I’m an average player at best. When I’m consistent with my striking the club is extremely consistent with both trajectory and spin. The face seems to grab the ball and impart a check spin that I can predict. The weight makes the club effortless to swing and I find myself going to this club for most of my short game.

JAWS wedges are awesome! They are the best wedges I have ever played and callaway offers them in a lot of different loft and bounce options. The only thing I don’t like, and it is purely cosmetic, is that I’ve bought 3 of these wedges this year and all of them came with different grips. I wasn't sure this would be a change that would be better than the Mack Daddy I was using. For me it was a positive change; I experience more distance and accuracy and feeling more confident when pulling the club from the bag. A good decision.

I’ve played a couple rounds with this club. I’m still a terrible golfer, but when I swing properly the ball will bite. Chipping accuracy is much improved. Highly recommend

Got interested in the MD5 gap wedge because of the smaller head size compared to my MD4 52*, which I really liked. I like the optics of the MD5 52* wedge between my APEX Pro 16 PW and PM Grind 19 58*. But the MD5 offers more than optics. The spin seems to be better for me versus my MD4. When I can visualize the shot around the green I have had good success pulling it off with the MD5. Now feel I have a chance to hit any shot that I need to using the appropriate wedge - APEX Pro 16 PW, MD5 52*, and PM Grind 19 58*.
